Instructions to move an Access Point from one Location to another

To move an Access Point from one Location to another, do the following: Step 1: Right-click on the Access Point to be moved Step 2: The system asks if you want to "Remove" this Access Point from the Controller or not? Click to confirm “No” Step 3: The system continues to ask if you want to "Move" this Access Point to another Location? Click to confirm “Yes” Step 4: The system asks to choose a new Location. You click on the Location where you want to move the Access Point to and wait a moment. The Access Point will be moved to the new Location. Instructions to Remove Access Point from Controller account

To remove an Access Point from the Controller account we are managing, do the following: Step 1: Right-click on the Access Point to be removed Step 2: the system will confirm with you that. Are you sure you want to Remove this Access Point? Note: you must carefully read the message including the MAC address and device name that the system will prepare to Remove to make sure you do not remove the wrong device. Select “Yes” to Remove Select “No” if you do not want to Remove If you choose “No”, the system will continue to ask if you want to move this Access Point to another Location? What is the “indoor” and “outdoor” function in Frequency in the Wireless configuration section?

In the 5GHz band. If you choose "indoor", the system will automatically select the channel in the indoor channel range. If "outdoor" is selected, the system will automatically select the channel located in the outdoor channel range.

I can’t add Access Point to my account because the system says my Access Point device has been registered by another account

If that WiFi device is because you have registered to another account before, then you log in to that account and remove that Access Point. Then log in to your existing account and add Access Point as usual. In case that Access Point you have never added to any account before, but the system still reports the above error. Please contact our Support so we can check the information for you.

Instructions for powering the device through the included PoE power

- Use RJ45 network cable to connect from PoE port on PoE device to ETH1 port on Access Point (only receive PoE power via ETH1 port) - The other end of the network cable connects from the LAN port on the PoE device to the Router / Switch. A place where internet is guaranteed

The WiFi device is still broadcasting normally, but on the Controller software, it says STOP. Why the above situation? How do you overcome?

The above phenomenon informs us that the connection between the Access Point and the WiCell AI Cloud Controller is interrupted. So now that Access Point is operating in standalone mode, no Controller needed. All the old configuration information remains the same as when there was a Controller. When the connection between the Access Point and the Controller is smooth and stable, then the Access Point will change the status from STOP to Running. Some of the reasons for this may include the following: - The link between the Access Point and the Controller is being blocked by the firewall in your network - The Internet system is unstable and unstable
